The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
- Gender, age group, disability status and postcode. We obtain this information by you directly providing it to us, consensually, via Microsoft Forms for our public consultation. This demographic information helps us to identify if your feedback is sample of our target demographic for the new site and to develop services and activities that meet your needs.
- Your email address. We obtain this information by you directly providing it to us, consensually, via Microsoft Forms for our public consultation. If you have opted in to receive ‘Development and team updates’ or ‘Marketing information, including events and open days’, your email address is required for us to provide this information to you.
- Your marketing information, including names and email address. We receive this information from AFC Greenwich Borough if you have opted-in to marketing information with them to ensure that you benefit from what GB10 has to offer as a member of AFC Greenwich Borough.
We do not share this information outside of GB10 Sports. However, our email marketing system is shared with AFC Greenwich Borough as we are owned by the same organisation. Therefore, you can choose whether to receive information and communications from both, or either brand.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

- (f) We have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
We collect your information via Microsoft Forms. You can find Microsoft’s Privacy Statement here.
We share your information with Mailchimp (Intuit) for the facilitation of email communications and marketing. This will involve transferring your data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) to the United States. Further information is available here: https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/.
Your information is stored securely within our systems. We utilise various Microsoft 365 products and services.
We keep your email address until you opt-out of receiving updates from us. We will then dispose your information by deleting your information from our chosen email sending system. Details of which will be updated here when chosen or changed.
We will keep your demographics information (gender, age group, disability status and postcode) for a period of two years, or until GB10 Sports has created its new site in Eltham. We will then dispose your information by deleting your information from our systems and from Microsoft Forms responses.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
